Welcome!
“On behalf of the Waynesboro Symphony — the American Prize-winning community orchestra in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley — I’m proud to welcome you to our website and introduce you to our upcoming 2024-25 concert season.
We have a rich and varied lineup of music this coming season. Our October concert features a performance of Chris Brubeck’s Prague Concerto with bass trombonist Robert Mott and honors the Bruckner’s bicentennial with his Symphony No. 7. We return to Charlottesville’s Paramount theater for our Symphonic Masquerade just a few days before Halloween with “An Evening of Wizards and Sorcerers” theme. You’ll enjoy our hugely popular (and always sold out) Holiday Pops Concert for two performances in early December. February presents the winner(s) of our second Young Artists Concerto Competition and we cap off the season in April 2025 with a Brahms Festival that includes the world-class talents of violinist Karen Johnson and cellist Jennifer Kloetzel. It’s a season not to be missed!
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you in the audience.”
